"The Train no longer runs, this place is almost like a museum. One will find the memorabilia. It has atmosphere and it is not hard to image the sound of a train. There's the old lanterns, the signs. How about the schedules and the beautiful dishes, train models and old pictures. Now that the trains have stopped the Porter House Bar and Restaurant serves great steaks. My favorite is Wednesday night Italian Spaghetti and a glass of Burgundy. The Porter House is more than just a memory. It is a land-mark. You can't miss it on Hwy. 8."
